I've been a copywriter for 3 years at Goodstuph.
I joined with no copy experience at all, in fact I walked into the interview with a portfolio of just 5 photographs (from my 10-year art background)! I figured, if I could talk my way into the job without any experience, I would have proven myself to be worth the risk – they agreed!
In those 3 years, I rose from an Intern, to a Junior, to a mid-weight Copywriter – utilising my unique understanding of both copy and art in my work, to get the best out of each.

Most copywriters hate puns and the few that do, pretend they don’t.
I proudly use them for good... and bad! See, I will annoy you with incessant jokes
but I also use wordplay to my advantage in my conceptualisation and copywriting.
It's like a switch in my head I can't turn off, so I've simply learned to channel it productively.
